Small pink pea flowers in dense racemes up to 6" long. Flowers June through Sept. Likes sun and good drainage. Tender shrub with greyish pinnate leaves. Can be grown as an annual for the dye. Young leaves are harvested to make the famous blue dye 4-6ft
